In fact, their peel is the sweetest part, whereas the pulp contains the seeds and juice, which in turn is sour. Thus, when this fruit is eaten together, you get a sweet and sour taste which is unlike anything else you’ve ever tasted! Nutritionally, kumquats are rich in nutrients such as Antioxidant vitamins A, C and E, B Vitamins, Flavonoid, and Minerals like calcium, copper, potassium, manganese, iron, selenium and zinc.
