Description

Native to Mexico, the fleshy, brown Sapote fruit is about the size of a small tomato, and has the flavor and texture of cinnamon, apple, and pear, yet has very astringent flavor when young. Besides, the pulp of this fruit is mainly used for making sweets and halwas, not to mention that it is also used as an ingredient of fruit salads and milk shakes. Despite the fact that the sapote fruit is somewhat “unlucky” for being extremely perishable, the wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants found in it makes it an amazing choice for a myriad of reasons, one of them being our skin and how it makes it look healthy and glowing. Plus, and as we all know, proper supply of nutrients to our body and proper absorption of these nutrients is inevitable for maintaining good hair health – Something which sapote fruit definitely has down pat.
