Armenian Cucumbers were first bred in Armenia in the 15th century and were spread with natural immigration to the New World. They are slender, elongated, and often irregularly curled. Besides, their thin flesh is crisp, sweet, succulent, and mild with some edible seeds, similar to a common cucumber. Armenian cucumbers are in fact a good source of vitamins C, A, and K, and potassium. Consisting mostly of water, and containing important electrolytes, these cucumbers can help prevent dehydration during the hot summer months or during and after a workout.
