Honeydew melons, which thrive in hot, dry climate, are round to oval in shape and have a smooth firm outer rind that turns from green to whitish yellow. Besides, their crisp yet juicy flesh is medium to pale green, and is most often used in fresh preparations such as fruit salads or cold soups. Nutritionally, Honeydew melons are a good source of vitamins C and B6 as well as potassium and fiber. It is worth noting that consuming melons helps to normalize heart rate so that it increases oxygen to the brain.
