Description

The history of the Fuerte avocado starts in the year 1911 in Puebla, Mexico. This avocado is often recognized as the archetypal avocado, green in color, pear-like in shape, and ranging from 170 - 350 grams in size. In addition, Fuerte is marginally oily with a rich, creamy flavor and notes of hazelnut, and is still considered by many to be the best tasting avocado. Nutrition-wise, this avocado contains more protein, magnesium, folic acid, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, pantothenic acid, vitamin E, and vitamin K than any other fruit. Furthermore, it is very high in potassium, which should support healthy blood pressure levels.
