Description

The Marsh Seedless Ruby grapefruit was discovered spontaneously growing as a chance seedling in 1929 in an orchard in Texas. It is medium-sized, slightly oval-round, with a thin and smooth rind, of bright yellow color. Besides, this fruit is nearly seedless, with a tender light yellow flesh, which is extremely rich, juicy, aromatic and crispy. Grapefruits in general are low in calories, but full of nutrients, and are considered to be an excellent source of vitamins A and C. It's been suggested that increasing the consumption of plant foods such as grapefruit decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. Grapefruit is also said to promote a healthy complexion, increased energy, and lower overall weight.
