Description

Ubi Badak yams are thought to have originated several thousand years ago in southeastern Asia, potentially as a result of hybridization. These yams are medium to large in size, and have a rough skin and a firm flesh. When cooked, the tuber offers a starchy texture and subtly sweet flavor with nuances of chestnut. As a matter of fact, Ubi Badak yam provides an excellent source of dietary fiber, complex carbohydrates, and naturally occurring antioxidants. Yam's incredible health benefits also include supporting healthy pregnancy, helping with PMS and menopause, supporting a healthy digestion, enhancing the skin, not to mention that it is also good for the hair and for supporting a healthy brain.
