Description

As recently as 20 years ago, the Blenheim was the leading variety grown in California. These apricots are known for their golden yellow and blush red bi-coloring on their outer skin. Besides, they have a thick aromatic flesh with a complex yet perfectly balanced sweet-tart flavor. Blenheim apricots, like its other delicious counterparts, contain both soluble and insoluble fiber. In fact, apricots are particularly high in soluble fiber, which is important for maintaining healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
