Description

Originated in California in 1926, the Zutano avocado resembles the fuerte avocado with its pear shape and thin, glossy green skin, which remains green even when ripe. However, its flesh is not as creamy or as rich in flavor. Besides, this avocado has low oil, but high water content, resulting in a slightly watery flavor. Unfortunately, Zutano's mild flavor and problematic peeling makes it less desirable than other avocado varieties. Still, it remains a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K and folate. Besides, eating this fruit may aid weight loss by keeping you full longer and making you eat fewer calories. Furthermore, avocados are also high in fiber and low in carbs, which may promote weight loss
