Description

Released to the public in 1987, Brooks cherry has all the trademark characteristics of the ideal cherry, as it has a rounded heart-shape, glossy firm skin that snaps with each bite. These ideal Cherries also have a well balanced sweetness with rich complex flavors of dried spice and sugar and a perfectly sweet tart blackberry-like finish. Besides, they inherently contain anthocyanins, not to mention that they are also a good supply of calcium, iron, dietary fiber and vitamins A and C. As a matter of fact, the dietary fiber in these cherries helps lower the risk of colon cancer.
