Description

Paea is actually a “massive”, ellipsoidal breadfruit variety with a yellowish-green rind and a moist, sweet pulp. It can be boiled, fried, baked, steamed, pureed, or even processed into a gluten-free meal or flour. Besides, like all breadfruits, Paea is indeed an energy-rich food, as it is a good source of complex carbohydrates and antioxidants. It’s also gluten free, low in fat, and is a complete protein, providing all nine of the essential amino acids, which in turn are needed for vital processes like the building of proteins and synthesis of hormones and neurotransmitters.
