Description

Native to the province of Yunnan in southern China, Ber fruits are small, round to oblong shaped, with thin, glossy skin. When under-ripe, their white flesh is dense, crisp and astringent, but when the fruit is fully ripe, it becomes spongier with a somewhat mealy texture and muted floral flavor. This fruit is actually popular for having antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and also for containing vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin and pectin.
