Description

Petite® Arugula was created in San Diego, California in the mid-1990's. The leaves of this variety are flat, tender, and crisp, not to mention that they are initially sweet and nutty, and then transform into a salty, peppery bite reminiscent of mustard and citrus. Petite® Arugula contains vitamins A and C, folic acid, and calcium. Besides, many studies suggest that increasing consumption of plant foods like arugula decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion, increased energy, and overall lower weight.
