Description

Native to South Korea, Asian Tempest garlic has grown slowly in popularity in home gardens and restaurants in the United States for its heat and sweet flavors when cooked. This garlic’s bulbs are small and produce between 5-7 cloves that are intensely hot with a spiciness that lingers. However, when cooked, this garlic's hotness will fade into a sweet and tangy flavor similar to a sweet pepper. In addition, Asian Tempest is an excellent source of vitamin B6, vitamin C, and manganese. It also contains copper, selenium, iron, and calcium. As a matter of fact, human studies have found garlic supplements to have a significant impact on reducing blood pressure in people with high blood pressure
