Description

Green cauliflower, which is a new variety, was brought to the market in 1988 under the trademarked name "broccoflower". It displays several of the same physical attributes as its white counterpart. Besides, it has a sweet, mild and nutty flavor, differentiating itself from a bolder, sometimes bitter White cauliflower. As a matter of fact, cauliflowers contain carotenoid and flavonoid antioxidants, which have anti-cancer effects and may reduce the risk of several other illnesses, including heart disease.
