Description

Quite a mouthful, huh ? Well, you can simply call it "Vanilla Orange" and that'd be that! Believed to be native to Italy, this orange fruit is medium-sized and has a sweet, juicy flesh with a slight amount of bitterness. It also has a faint vanilla flavor and aroma to it, which explains why it is also called "Vanilla orange". Nutritionally, this orange variety is a good source of vitamin C, potassium, and dietary fiber. Besides, the pigment lycopene that gives it its pink hue has been shown to have antioxidant and cancer fighting properties.
