Introduced in 1968, O’Henry peaches are large with an orange skin and bright red blush that covers nearly the entire circumference of the fruit. They also have a thin and slightly fuzzy skin and an almost turmeric yellow with a smooth, firm textured flesh. In addition, this freestone peach variety is juicy and sweet with notes of vanilla and a hint of acid. Nutritionally, O'Henry peaches are rich in vitamins A, C and B, as well as dietary fiber, potassium and iron. They also contain chlorogenic acid, which is a potent antioxidant that has health-promoting advantages
