Native to Europe, White clover is actually one of the most widely cultivated types of clover. This plant has heads of whitish flowers, often with a tinge of pink or cream that may come on with the aging of the plant. While red clover seems to be getting more attention than white clover, that doesn’t make the latter any less beneficial, because this underrated plant does have its own medicinal uses. In fact, white clover was traditionally used to purify and cleanse the blood. A tea made from the blossoms can be used as an eyewash, or to fight fevers and colds.
