Description

The Black radish has long been used in folk medicine in both Europe and China to stimulate bile function and improve the health of the gallbladder. These radishes are indeed an excellent source of vitamin C and also provide potassium, iron and magnesium as well as vitamins A, E and B. They are also known for their ability to fight off infection and promote healthy digestive function. Besides, they can be round or cylindrical and elongated, not to mention that their flesh is crisp, white and offers a hot spicy bite. You can enjoy your Black radishes either raw or cooked. You can, for instance, sauté or braise them, or simply use them in soups and stews to add a radishy bite. Just remember to dice them first!
