Predominately grown in Mexico and Central America, Castelo limes are quite small with a rind that turns from green color to pale yellow when ripe. Inside, the pulp is yellowish-green with few or no seeds, and is hard to separate into segments. As a matter of fact, these limes are high in Vitamin C, which is known to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. These limes also contain potassium, which can help relieve tension in the walls of your blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
