Description

Native to Japan, Sudachi limes are small, and they mature from a deep green to yellow. Besides, their rind is medium thin, rough and is covered in deep oil glands. Sudachi limes are actually heavier than other varieties due to the quantity of juice the flesh contains. Plus, their pale green flesh is aromatic and has a very acidic flavor with notes of cumin and white pepper. Furthermore, Sudachis are high in vitamin C and dietary fiber. They also contain calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus, which in turn is needed for many functions, such as filtering waste and repairing tissue and cells
