Giant Granadilla is actually the largest fruit in its genus. This passion fruit can be cooked with sugar and eaten as dessert. It can also be canned in syrup; sometimes candied; but it is in fact so bland that it needs additional flavoring. Besides, this fruit is a good source of nutrients, especially fiber, vitamin C and vitamin A. It's also rich in beneficial plant compounds, including carotenoids and polyphenols, which in turn can neutralize harmful free radicals that would otherwise damage your cells and increase your risk of conditions like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease
