Thought to have possibly originated in Brazil, the Yellow passionfruit has a round to egg-like shape, a thick yellow skin and an exceptionally juicy yellow-orange pulp. In addition, this fruit is acidic and tropical with mild floral notes. Besides, it contains riboflavin and niacin, and is also rich in amino acids, which in turn are involved in important processes such as tissue growth, energy production, immune function and nutrient absorption.
