While Sapote fruits are native to Mexico, Central and South America, Cricket Ball sapote is in fact native to India. This variety is a round to oblong fruit with thin, fuzzy, brown skin. Besides, it is fragrant, exuding a sweet aroma, and has a juicy flesh that is soft like a kiwi fruit. In addition, Cricket Ball sapote is a good source of vitamins A and C, not to mention that it is also high in carbohydrates, sugars, calcium and phosphorous.
