Description

As a matter of fact, Fairytale pumpkins are a hybrid developed in Europe in the 19th century. They are medium to large in size, and have a bright orange flesh that is thick and firm. In fact, this pumpkin obtains a smooth and creamy texture along with a spicy scent and a mild, sweet flavor when cooked. Besides, it is high in vitamin A and beta-carotene, not to mention that it is also a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, potassium, and manganese. Aside from the aforementioned vitamins, pumpkin in general is also a good source of vitamin E, iron and folate — all of which have been shown to aid the immune system as well.
