Introduced prior to 1885, this fine heirloom variety is still perhaps one of the standard celeriac cultivars. It has large, white, globular roots that are superb fried or in soup. Plus, it stores well for winter use. Celeriac contains multiple nutrients that may offer health benefits, as part of a healthy diet, including vitamins C & K, Vitamin B-6, Potassium, Phosphorus and Fiber.
