The Chandler pomelo is a hybrid that was obtained in 1961 by the controlled cross-pollination of the Siamese sweet pomelo (pale, slightly acidic flesh) and Siamese pink pomelo (acidic flesh). Like other pomelos, Chandlers are particularly large and round, with a yellow to yellow-pink rind. Besides, their flesh is light to dark pink and is mostly sweet with some acidic notes. In addition, Chandler pomelos are extremely high in Vitamin C. They also contain potassium, magnesium and Vitamin B6. Furthermore, they contain high amounts of dietary fiber, which promotes healthy digestion and eliminates problems like constipation and diarrhea
