Thought to have been developed in the 1940’s, the Reinking pomelo is medium to large in size and is somewhat pear shaped or bell shaped, with a flat bottom. Besides, this fruit has a yellow rind that is rough rather than smooth, and a sweet and juicy flesh with a mild tartness. Nutrition-wise, these pomelos are extremely high in Vitamin C. They also contain potassium, magnesium, Vitamin B6, and dietary fiber. As a matter of fact, their dietary properties make Reinking pomelos helpful in preventing colds and indigestion problems.
