Description

Also called Cinchocaine, Dibucaine is an anesthetic that works by causing temporary numbness in the skin. For this reason, it is used “to treat minor pain and itching caused by minor cuts or burns, insect bites or stings, sunburn, or other skin irritations”. This topical medicine is also indicated for the relief of rectal pain and itching caused by hemorrhoids or other rectal irritations.
