It is worth noting that this medication lowers high blood calcium levels by reducing the amount of calcium released from your bones into your blood. It also works by slowing the breakdown of your bones by cancer to prevent bone fractures. As far as the side effects of Zoledronic acid are concerned, they include fever, joint pain, high blood pressure, diarrhea, and feeling tired. Additionally, this medication has other side effects that are more serious such as kidney problems, low blood calcium, and osteonecrosis of the jaw. Bear in mind that using Zoledronic acid during pregnancy may result in harm to the baby.
