It is not clear who was the first person to decide to scramble an egg; however, humans have been scrambling eggs for centuries. If you want to learn how to scramble an egg, then you should know that learning how to do so can be real fun! Simply beat 4 eggs, 1/4 cup of milk, salt and pepper in a medium bowl until blended. Heat the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Pour in the egg mixture. As the eggs begin to set, gently pull them across the pan with a spatula, forming large soft curds. Continue cooking – pulling, lifting and folding the eggs until thickened and no visible liquid egg remains. Do not stir them constantly, though. It’s best to serve scrambled eggs as soon as they are cooked, but if necessary, they can be held for a short time. Place the skillet of cooked eggs over a pan of hot water rather than over direct heat
