Description

As a matter of fact, people take tamarind for constipation, liver and gallbladder problems, and stomach disorders. It is also used to treat colds and fever. Even women sometimes use this fruit to treat pregnancy-related nausea. As for tamarind ketchup, it is made with tamarind, tomato, onion, garlic, orange juice, brown sugar and bell pepper. You can prepare it yourself by cooking all these ingredients until tender, about 1 hour, then transfer the mixture to a blender and puree until smooth. It is worth noting that tamarind ketchup goes well with just about anything, although it is especially good with fried fish and rice
