Description

Loganberries were first developed in the late 1800's, and have been used for both their flavor and their vitamin C since then. These bright red berries are an aggregate fruit made of tiny, firm yet plump drupes, not to mention that they offer a raspberry aroma and a tart and slightly sweet flavor. In addition, loganberries are an excellent source of manganese, an essential nutrient for the body, and vitamin C. They are also a good source of pantothenic acid or vitamin B5, iron, folate, vitamins E and K, and essential B-vitamins thiamin and riboflavin. Furthermore, these berries are rich in anthocyanin, which in turn wards off free radicals that have harmful effects on our body
