Donnie Florida Avocado

Resembling a green papaya, Donnie avocados are large in size and have a light, mild flesh that is low in fat and pairs well with richer ingredients such as cream and olive oil in velvety soups and salad dressings. Although similarly packed with essential nutrients such as potassium and folate, varieties of Florida avocados have more vitamin C and E than their regular counterparts, but they have less fiber and are slightly less nutrient-dense overall. It is worth noting that Vitamin C protects the cells and limits the damage by stabilizing and mopping up free radicals.
