Empeltre Olives

Originating in Spain, Empeltre is a type of medium-sized, black olive that is used both as a table olive and to produce a high-quality olive oil. Besides, these olives provide a yellow-colored smooth oil that is both sweet and aromatic with no bitterness. As a matter of fact, olive oil is rich in monounsaturated oleic acid, which in turn is believed to have many beneficial effects, not to mention that it is a healthy choice for cooking.
