New Zealand Spinach

New Zealand spinach was first introduced to the world in the 1700s by Captain Cook after exploring the coasts of New Zealand. It is a bushy, fast-growing perennial with fuzzy, triangular leaves. Besides, its flavor is very similar to common spinach when young, but becomes bitter and acrid when fully mature.
