Italian Prunes

Native to the Mediterranean coastal regions of Italy, Italian prunes are large oblong-shaped, often exhibiting a powdery white bloom on their otherwise purplish-blue skin. Besides, their thin snappy skin encases a firm yet juicy flesh that holds a central pit that is easily removed.
